Penny Press Publications is celebrating its second anniversary with M and P Publishing, with a new location and a very special Moving Sale, according to publisher Mike Lindsey.
Penny Press moved into its new offices at 1618 Rudkin Road August 24, from its former location on Nob Hill Boulevard.
“It’s a move we’ve been considering for some time,” Lindsey said. “The expiration of our lease at the old location seemed like the logical time to move forward.”
Lindsey said the new Rudkin Road location is centrally located and very close to Valley Mall and the I-82 Rudkin Road exit.
He stressed that all the familiar Penny Press contact information such as phone numbers and email addresses would remain the same.
To help customers get familiar with the new location, Lindsey said the publication is offering a special One-Cent Sale Sept. 25, during which walk-in customers can place a 20-word classified ad for a penny.
“We hope it will help reinforce with our customers what a great value Penny Press is, day in and day out,” Lindsey said.
The relocation of the publication’s offices is the latest in a series of upgrades since Lindsey and his wife, Pat, co-owners and co-publishers, took over.
In March of this year, the Lindseys made the decision to consolidate Penny Press and Thrifty Nickel, two of the valley’s most successful free shoppers, into a single publication, the Super Shopper.
Lindsey said the new publication gives advertisers more coverage for less money, offering lower-cost classified private-party ads, and strong discounts to the automotive and real estate markets.
“As a locally-owned business, we want to do our part to help maintain the vigor of the local economy,” Lindsey said.
The Super Shopper is available at 800 locations from Cle Elum to the Tri-Cities.
