Yakima Valley Habitat For Humanity has announced that members of the Yakima Valley Warriors Indoor Football team will be working on an HFH home.
The home will be owned by Virginia Valle and is at 3108 Hathaway.
Michael Mink, team owner, said, “We are glad to work with such a great organization, like Habitat. The Yakima Valley Warriors are all about team work just like Habitat, people working together to build a new life for families.”
The Warriors also plan to work on other Habitat homesduring the upcoming Indoor Football Season.
Yakima Valley Partners, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit Christian housing ministry.
It is dedicated to building simple, decent, affordable housing, in partnership with those in need in Yakima County.
Since 1984, this affiliate has built 133 homes, helping more than 800 individual family members, and adding over $11 million to the local tax rolls.
