Dennis Hogenson, region president for U.S. Bank in central Washington, retired June 1, after 39 years with the company.

He will be succeeded by Craig Tullis, a veteran banker and senior lender for U.S. Bank in the region.

Hogenson served as region president for the past eight years of his 39-year career with U.S. Bank, leading the region both from a business perspective, and in the community, which has been his home for 45 years.

He covered a territory encompassing 28 branches in 20 towns and four commercial lending centers located in Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Yakima and Kennewick.

Tullis comes to the region president position with 28 years of experience, all with U.S. Bank.

He started as a career development trainee in Baker City, Ore. in 1982 after graduating from the University of Oregon.

He worked in various retail and commercial assignments while in Oregon and also went through U.S. Bank’s commercial loan training program in Portland, Ore. prior to moving to Yakima in 1990.

Tullis has spent the last 20 years in Central Washington as a commercial relationship manager, commercial team leader and most recently as the region’s senior lender.

He has been actively involved in various community service groups and non-profit organizations during his career.

He is currently a board member of Central Washington University’s Foundation and has been an active supporter of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, in Yakima.
