Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has announced that David McKinney has successfully completed the firm’s investment studies program in New York and has joined the firm’s Wealth Management office in Yakima at 610 East Yakima Avenue as a Financial Advisor.  

McKinney’s family has owned and operated McKinney Glass in Yakima for more than 55 years.  

Shortly after returning to Yakima with daughter Caitlin in May of 2007, McKinney joined Wilkinson Development.  

He served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development

 His duties included management of all business ventures and assets, strategic planning, oversight of relationships with financial institutions, brokers, and investors, financial analysis, human resources, as well as raw-land acquisitions.

He is an active member of Downtown Yakima Rotary, St Paul Cathedral Church, Bible Study Fellowship, Junior Achievement, New Vision – Yakima County Development Association Entrepreneur Network Steering Committee and the Yakima Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.
