Wellness House is set host a Picnic in the Park to introduce families to the newly created Kids in the House especially created for children and teens who have a loved one with cancer, life-challenging illness or who are experiencing grief and loss. Picnic in the Park is free for families eligible for Kids in the House programs and is sponsored in part by Sunrise Rotary, Spirit of Hope, and All About Fun.

The event will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Franklin Park Shelter located at 21st Ave & Tieton Drive.  The event is free. For more information, registration, or sponsorship please call Amy at (509) 575-6686.
