The weekend of September 9-11 there will be a weekend of poetry workshops in the city of Tieton. The workshops combine writing, exploration, improvisation, camaraderie, natural beauty and readings. Featured poets include internationally-acclaimed poet and teacher Marvin Bell,
American Book Award winners Judith Roche and Carolyne Wright, UCLA professor Karen Kevorkian, and others. The weekend is presented by Tieton Arts Humanities.

10x10x10xTieton opens with a reception Saturday, August 13 with regular gallery hours continuing from August 13-October 2, Friday-Sunday, 12 to 3 p.m. in the Mighty Tieton Warehouse Gallery.
Highland Community Days is set for August 26-28. There will be Mexican dancing horses, Civil War re-enactments, live music, and a school bus full of artists.
